July 18 (UPI) — Actor, comedian and writer Steve Martin released an animated tunes video Monday for the track, “Angel in Flip Flops.” The track seems in Martin’s Hulu comedy, Only Murders in the Developing.
His fictional character, Charles-Haden Savage, is supposed to be a washed-up actor, ideal acknowledged for participating in the titular Tv detective on the drama, Brazzos.
In a recent Season 2 episode, it was revealed that Savage has been living off the proceeds of his a person-strike ponder tune, “Angel in Flip Flops.”
Monday’s 2-minute cartoon audio video displays Martin/Savage sitting down on a beach front, strumming a guitar and singing the tune when a rather female — carrying the summer season shoes that make a “pitta putta” audio on the sand — walks by.
“The calendar year was 1989 and Brazzos’ one, Angel in Flip Flops, was using higher on the charts … until finally the Berlin Wall arrived down,” a message accompanying the song on YouTube explained.
Only Murders in the Creating also stars Martin Short and Selena Gomez.
