‘Riverfront Revival’ to offer food, music, prayer in Tarentum’s Riverview Memorial Park

A Pentecostal preacher and a Brackenridge church are teaming up to put enjoy into the group with a foods giveaway Wednesday the place everyone is invited.

“That’s it. That’s the total mission — just to allow men and women know they are cherished and there is a spot for them,” claimed Chris Cugini, a Fox Chapel Place graduate who afterwards attended the Northeast Ministry School in Hampton.

“It has been on my heart to do an outreach party for the people of Tarentum. I want this party to be some thing that our neighbors can glimpse back again on with a smile.”

The Riverfront Revival festivities will fill Riverview Memorial Park in Tarentum from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

There will be stay audio from the Generations Household of Worship band and a bounce household for children.

A spotlight of the event will be the food stuff giveaway.

A lot more than 200 huge containers of peanut butter, pasta and veggies will be distributed by the Larger Pittsburgh Local community Food items Lender and Light-weight of Everyday living Rescue Mission.

“Since summer’s coming up, we know some little ones will not have access to correct nourishment and that mother and father could be battling,” reported Cugini, 31, a Morningside resident who has traveled the planet spreading messages of Christianity.

Nick Chybrzynski, guide pastor of Generations House of Worship alongside Parkside Push in Brackenridge, claimed his church has manufactured it a mission to access out to each individual corner of the group.

Its motto is “Don’t do life by yourself.”

“We try to bridge generational gaps since a church goes past 4 walls,” he reported. “We just want to show men and women that we enjoy them.”

Other region church buildings, like Considerable Joy Fellowship and Bridgepoint, the two in Tarentum, will be on hand.

Cugini stated he was spurred by the Holy Spirit to associate with Chybrzynski.

“I know it may possibly audio ridiculous to some people, but I felt the voice of God telling me to pray for Tarentum,” Cugini said.

“With all this wickedness heading on in the planet, we want to pray for what was when a bustling community and help revive it. We want all people to fulfill us and know there are spots they can go to really feel welcome.”
