New airport art exhibit ‘Ripple’ features sculptures made with crayons

“The exhibit capabilities six massive-scale sculptures composed of above 500,000 Crayola crayons,” Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport said in a news release.

The exhibit called “Ripple” was designed by Nashville artist Herb Williams.

“The vibrant established of sculptures depict distinct sets of animals— these kinds of as a bull with snakes, an octopus with rabbits, a turtle with a fox, a deer with birds, and a polar bear with a penguin,” the airport explained.

Williams spent much more than two decades generating the sculptures.
