‘DD’ marks the starting of a new chapter for self-making artist Liza Dries. Unbound by genre and guided by moods she explores new approaches to songwriting and establishes herself as a prolific producer, producing music enriched with new levels of complexity. The very first Single ‘DD’ stands out with its heat yet digital sound, calming melodies, and ethereal experimentations in generation, characterizing her upcoming EP RREALL — to be produced this autumn. 

The Groningen-born, Cologne-centered artist launched her debut EP Tegenkomer on Risk-free Place Records in April 2021 — a five-keep track of release with atmospheric appears and Dutch lyrics. Her new tunes participate in with the thought of reality and authenticity in songs i.e. by presenting interior dialogues as discussion and melting honest views with fictional scenarios. She takes inspiration from modern day option pop appears like Oklou, Sega Bodega, and Porches.

“Stories with parallel or upcoming perspectives have been a fantastic inspiration for my music as nicely as visual get the job done. I like warm futuristic aesthetics like in the motion pictures HER or Dune, which are not automatically practical but in some way it is wonderful to dream absent in these distinct worlds.
