Art & Music: The Portable Universe

LACMA’s eclectic and reducing-edge Art & Tunes sequence, winner of the ASCAP & Chamber New music America Award for Adventurous Programming of Contemporary Audio, presents environment-renowned performers and composers celebrating the museum’s exhibitions and lasting collection.

Colombian musician Luis Fernando Franco Duque will engage in new music with historical Colombian ocarinas in the galleries of The Transportable Universe, a groundbreaking exhibition showcasing the materiality and knowledge of historical Colombian cultures from an Indigenous stage of check out. This program is bilingual in Spanish and English.

Luis Fernando Franco Duque is a composer, performer, researcher and songs producer from Colombia. His oeuvre incorporates symphonic is effective, audio for the phase (cinema, dance, and present-day theater) as well as audiovisual information, textbooks, and projects for small children.
