Tate Liverpool today announced the shortlist for Turner Prize 2022: Heather Phillipson, Ingrid Pollard, Veronica Ryan and Sin Wai Kin. INGRID POLLARD (Georgetown, 1953)
Nominated for her solo exhibition Carbon Slowly but surely Turning at MK Gallery, Milton Keynes. Sin brings fantasy to daily life through storytelling in overall performance, moving impression, creating, and print. Drawing on their own expertise existing involving binary categories, their perform realises fictional narratives to describe lived realities of desire, identification, and consciousness.
